Shiny things aren’t really my thing

It has a slightly kinky sheen, which is a bit of a let-down. It also sticks to your fingers a bit. It’s a warm handlebar wrap, too – lovely for winter. I also find it a bit short, and because of its thickness, you can’t wrap it far enough round to get a good overlap. It is a nice, thick wrap, though, and comfortable as well.
